Great news for VX Scotland!

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Harvey as chairman for the official, affiliated NGB for VX in Scotland.

Jane Harvey’s background in the private sector includes writing and implementing business and marketing strategies for clients and employers in professional services and B2B.

Since returning to her home in the Scottish Borders form London 11 years ago, she has worked extensively in the charities and sports sectors. She was responsible for leading the merger of three youth services charities in the Scottish Borders and remains a Director on the Board of the Berwickshire Connect Youth Services Trust.

In sport, Jane was CEO of Snowsport Scotland for six years and, as Chair of the governing body, led a successful application for Sport England funding for Taekwondo Organisation Ltd. Consultancy projects include the writing of a commercial strategy for the Sport & Recreation Alliance and writing a membership strategy for Sports Officials UK Ltd.

Jane’s current professional roles are as a founding Director of Sports Officials Learning & Development an online education platform and CEO of the Scottish Council of Taekwondo which she is currently taking through the process of recognition by sportscotland.

This is excellent news for Scotland and for VX in Scotland and we are delighted to welcome Jane on board
